ABOUT
Meral Polat is a renowned actrice, singer/songwriter and theatremaker in the Netherlands. Graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts, Drama and contemporary Music Theatre. Her field of artistic discipline consists in eminent Theatre, Film and Music productions.
With her new show, she presents a brand-new quartet program, creating a sonic world that blends different eras and cultures while staying true to their contemporary sound. The new program gives voice to women living on their own terms, a powerful, epic exploration of freedom, humanity and women’s strength. Musically, it adds more rhythm, groove, rock ‘n’ roll, and power, sharing stories of resistance, struggle, and solidarity in the fight for women’s rights.
